Teachers

Director Jen Rogers, a former parent at the school, became a teacher here in 2009 and became teacher/director in 2013. Jen received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Boston College. She also received her Masters of Education in Moderate Special Needs from Boston College. Jen worked as a Special Needs Teacher and First/Second Grade Teacher in the Tyngsboro Public School System.

Nancy Laorenza, a former parent at the school, became a teacher here in 2007. Nancy received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She was a dance and creative movement teacher for many years and developed programs for local preschools and kindergartens. She then acquired her Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching preschool in the Andover area for 12 years, the last 6 at Family Co-op. Nancy also started the Adventure Weeks enrichment programs five years ago.

Barb Bessette, a former parent at the school, started teaching at Family Cooperative Preschool in 2012. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Wayne State University in Michigan. She has completed graduate work in Early Childhood Education and has taught Kindergarten and Preschool in public and private school settings.

Liane Sheehy, a former parent at the school, began working as an Additional Teacher in 2013. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. She received a Master of Social Work Degree from Boston University and is a licensed Social Worker in the state of MA with a specialty in Children and Families. She has worked with young children for fourteen years including Child Care and Early Intervention settings.
